S09E01 | Lewis Daynes | The Murder of Breck Bednar

In this episode, I tell the story of Lewis Daynes and Breck Bednar. On the morning of February 17, 2014, 18-year-old Lewis Daynes murdered 14-year-old Breck Bednar by stabbing him in the neck. Breck met Lewis online and was lured to his flat the previous evening. Lewis Daynes was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 25 years on January 12, 2015, by Mrs Justice Cox at Chelmsford Crown Court. Lorin LaFave, Breck's mum, founded a charity in 2014 in response to the tragic loss of her son.
