Without blood, Hebrews tells us, there is no forgiveness of sin. That is why under the old covenant, animals had to be sacrificed. But the blood of Jesus is better than the blood of bulls and goats! Jesus willingly gave His life, like a lamb led to the slaughter, so that we could be free. That should make us love Him a little bit more today.
