A little old man and little old woman live together in a little cottage. One day the old woman bakes a gingerbread man. But when the gingerbread has finished baking, the gingerbread man jumps off the baking tray and runs out of the door! The old woman chases after him, and on their journey they come across many other hungry characters who all want a piece of the gingerbread man. The gingerbread man runs faster than them all and laughs all the way to the river, where he meets a sly fox……..
