China property giant Evergrande files for US bankruptcy protection

We discuss how the heavily-indebted Evergrande hopes filing for bankruptcy protection will protect its assets in the US, as it works on a multi-billion dollar deal with creditors. The move comes as problems in China's property market add to concerns about the world's second largest economy. Also, US President Joe Biden has today hailed a "new era" of unity with the leaders of South Korea and Japan, as the three allies announced security cooperation at a first-of-its-kind summit, at Camp David, west of Washington.
