CULS Speakers event: Brexit Panel with Professor Barnard & Dr Julie Smith

Catherine Barnard, Professor of European Union law, and Dr Julie Smith, Director of the European Centre, gave a talk on Brexit issues. Both our speakers are incredibly knowledgeable on Europe and Brexit. Major themes of the talk include the constitutionality of the EU (Withdrawal) Bill; trade, immigration, and the Northern Irish border questions; the proposed legal frameworks for UK-EU relations and citizens’ rights post-Brexit.
