We also uncover the work of Sir John Crofton in tackling this deadly disease. Then we talk to Dr Wendy Anderson – a specialist currently working in the field of respiratory medicine. And we end with a case study exploring the history of asthma, and particularly one of its most famous sufferers, Charles Dickens.
