By 1928 the "New Yorker" had already dubbed Capone the greatest gang leader in history, hist brutality was legendary even during his lifetime. 

It was widely known, although almost impossible to prove that he had engineered dozens of murders. Today we learn about the infamous man's life & legacy.. this is Casual History.
