103: Bob Wigley – How we can reset our relationship with technology: lessons for the digital generation

Joining Michael today is Bob Wigley, chair of UK Finance, the trade association for the banking and finance sector. His career in finance led him to be selected by then Mayor of London Boris Johnson to author a report: London, Winning in the Decade Ahead, looking the opportunities for the capital to boost its reputation as a global financial centre. And as London’s status as a financial leader has continued to grow, so has Bob’s, becoming the first chair of UK Finance in 2017. With a passion for backing young technology entrepreneurs, earlier this year he published his first book, Born Digital: The Story of a Distracted Generation, taking a look at the impact of technology on younger generations particularly, offering a roadmap for society to reset its relationship with technology.
