Rain delayed the Black Caps' push for an historic Test victory over Australia in Christchurch, but it was defiant sixth wicket partnership that was crucial to denying New Zealand a win. Heading into day 4, the Black Caps had the upper-hand as they chased their first home Test win over Australia in 31 years. Just a few hours later it was Australia who were spoiling the party.
