Natalie Gentile, MD is a family medicine and lifestyle medicine board certified physician with a passion for food and fitness. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. As an attending physician, she saw that the current primary care model in the U.S. lacks continuity, access, and time with patients. She also noticed, especially on the inpatient hospital service, how sick patients were served food that was making them sicker, even in their most teachable, dire moments of health. Therefore, when she moved back home to Pittsburgh, PA, she opened Gentile Family Direct Primary Care, and is now a co-founder of a managed services organization for direct primary care (DPC) called Direct Care Physicians of Pittsburgh. https://www.directcarepgh.com/
