Jennifer Moore has extensive experience in caring for pre-end-stage patients, focused on delaying dialysis, and end-stage renal disease patients on all forms of dialysis. She is the author of two books. Plant-Fed Kidneys, For the Practitioner: The Diet to Slow Progression of Chronic Kidney Disease and, Plant-Fed Kidneys, For the Patient: The Diet to Slow Progression of Chronic Kidney Disease as well as articles for the Journal of Renal Nutrition and Renal Nutrition Forum. She has taught and spoken at the national meetings of the American Association of Kidney Patients, the National Kidney Foundation, and Council on Renal Nutrition, and is the recipient of the 2020 Medal of Excellence, Dietitian from the American Association of Kidney Patients. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of (Arts or Science?) degree from Mississippi State University, a Master of Science in nutrition sciences from Central Michigan University, and completed an internship in clinical nutrition at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jennifer is a certified specialist in renal nutrition through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a certified plant-based dietitian through Cornell University.
