Mustard Seeds 2 tsp. Cumin Powder 2 tsp. Turmeric Powder 2 tsp. Coriander Powder 1 tsp. Fennel seed pinch Asafoetida (Hing) Salt to taste (black salt is great option) Vegetables - 2 cups options include zucchini, squash, greens, asparagus, sweet potato, pumpkin, broccoli, pumpkin, carrots, peas, asparagus Prep:10m Cook:45m ReadyIn:55m Directions 1. Toast the spices for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Add the mung dal and salt. Add water, bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or until the dal is about 2/3 cooked. Can be done in slow cooker. 2.
