Psalm 1 - Lectio Divina

God wants to fill our lives with love, truth and redemption. One of the ways God does this is through his love letter to us, the Bible.  For "the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). Tune into this bonus episode of Christ Is Key where we focus on how we can let the Holy Spirit transform our lives through Psalm 1. They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. ------------------------------------------- Index:  Intro: 00:00 Lectio Divina: 1:33 Reading: 2:15 Meditation: 4:43 Prayer: 4:57 Contemplation: 5:11 Action: 5:34 Daily Reflection Prompts: 6:36 Monthly Reflection Prompts: 7:52 Psalm 1 Objectives: 9:38 Prayer: 12:04 Amen: 14:10 ------------------------------------------- Bible Verses Referenced:  Psalm 1 James 1:2 Exodus 34:6-7 ------------------------------------------- Read the Bible Website Instagram Facebook E-mail Me: [email protected]  ------------------------------------------- Episode Art: “And the Prayer of Faith Shall Save the Sick" (John Frederick Lewis, 1872) ------------------------------------------- Thank you for tuning in!
