Chris Chavez, Kyle Merber, Katelyn Hutchison and Dana Giordano recap the third day of the 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships LIVE from Eugene, Oregon. Some of the highlights of the day include: – – Nikki Hiltz and Yared Nuguse winning the 1500m – Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran the second-fastest 400m in U.S. history in the 400m race with a time of 48.74 seconds. – Sha'Carri Richardson ran an impressive 21.61 in the first round of the 200m – although the tailwind exceeded the allowable limit for record purposes, it matched the sixth-fastest time in history under all conditions. – Nia Ali, a 34-year-old athlete and mother, won the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.37 seconds, her best time in four years. – Field events saw surprises with Sam Kendricks and KC Lightoot tying for fourth place in the pole vault, and world champion Chase Ealey finishing fourth in the shot put.
