Earlier this week I spoke with Simon Chisholm, CIO of Resonance. The firm has launched a fund investing in properties to lease to women’s organisations and homelessness charities. The strategy is targeting an annual return of between 5-7%, and Resonance is launching the fund as a joint venture with private equity firm Patron Capital. The Women In Safe Homes fund has already received £15.5m from founding investors, with social impact investor Big society capital committing £10m at launch.
