Kami and Madalyn have used one word to focus their work every year and they have created a worksheet to help you to choose your one word for 2019. Madalyn first learned about the One Word method from Jon Gordon (see link below). Settling on one word for all areas of your life can seem hard to do. We have created a method to help you narrow it down. Take a minute to download the worksheet at the bottom of this post. Come up with the top three things that you want to accomplish in 2019 in your personal, relationships, and professional life. Write down a verb (or doing word) that describes what you would have to DO or BE to reach that goal. Personal: Your health, mindset, overall knowledge and skills, spirituality and your relationship with yourself Relationships: Relationships with others like your significant other, family, friends and community Professional: Your current job or business, income level and accomplishments Once you settle on a word, write in on a post-it note and put it on your computer, add it to your social media profiles, and make it public. Keep it at the forefront of everything you do this year and see how much further it takes you. You might not hit every goal you make, but having one word that you see readily every day will help guide you through the year. Tools, apps and links mentioned: Jon Gordon: What’s your one word?
