25 - Just The Tip: Jewely / When Mothers Can’t Mother

In today's episode,  Jewely and I work together to teach her she’s safe to say, “Mom, I don’t need you anymore.” We explore the difference in childhood abuse: attack vs. neglect. I give tips and validation for those of you who were neglected in childhood. Today’s client, Jewely: In this short episode, we follow Jewely as she looks at the issues caused by her hot-and-cold mother. Instead of people-pleasing and keeping quiet, Jewely bravely stands up to her mother for the first time ever (and her mother loses a chunk of hair in the process).
