Guided Meditation April 10th, 2023: Gratitude and Grounding

Hello and welcome to this week's Collective Meditation. My name is Daniel Colon, also known as Color Me Crazy Baby, and today we're going to tune in, tap, and turn on to get our energy nicely calibrated for the week ahead. We're going to break down the meditation into three phases today. The first phase involves somatic practices, deep breathing, and EFT tapping, as well as a guided meditation, getting us tuned into the feeling of home and our safe space, a sanctuary. To start, find yourself in a comfortable position, either sitting down with your back supported and your neck loose or lying down on a hard surface. Take nice deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth, imagining a gust of wind going up into your nasal passages, around your brain, down into your throat, into your heart, and into your root space, down into the earth. Exhale with a long and loud sigh, and repeat the deep breaths as necessary. The second phase involves tapping and activating the body. Tap your chest, rib cage, solar plexus, and jawline, whatever feels good and natural to you. Explore pitch and sound, and breathe deeply in between each tap. Then, tap your scalp, temples, third eye, cheeks, and collar bone, breathing deeply and releasing tension through the mouth. Finally, in the third phase, you will visualize your safe space and fill it with gratitude. Imagine a place where you feel safe and serene, and start thinking of things, people, and places that you are grateful for. Shoot a love beam from your heart to these things, people, and places, and say, "Thank you." Focus on the feeling of calm and serenity, or visualize the details of your safe space. Expand this light of gratitude beyond your safe space, to the state, the country, the world, the universe, and feel the love and gratitude surround everything around you. Say with me, "I am love, I am gratitude." Slowly come back to the present moment, feeling your physical space, stretching your arms above your head, clasping your wrists, stretching left and right, hugging yourself and saying, "I'm proud of you. I love you. I see you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Gently open your eyes and walk in this embodied state of mind, proud of yourself for completing this meditation. Book 1 on 1 Session with me!
