Ani Ashekian, a successful 31 year old paralegal, took a trip to visit China with two of her colleagues in October 2008. By November 11th, 2008, she had vanished from Hong Kong, after abruptly leaving China without telling her travel companions where she was going. A seasoned world traveler, Ani's disappearance was alarming to her family and friends.
