Cynocephalus The Dog-Headed Men. Indolent's, Men of War or Werewolves?

Most people have heard of werewolves or as we call them today 'Bipedal Canines, but few of have heard of the ancient race of dog-headed men, known as the Cynocephali. A Cynocephalus was essentially a man with the head of a dog. These Men could understand language but had no ability to speak and were said to communicate by barks and sign language.
