PREMIERE: Iro Aka - Fukushia [Iro Aka]

The Barcelona-based duo Iro Aka are about to self-release their six track compilation, Ametrine Horizon. The release ranges from acid-infused downtempo on Indigo, to ambient breakbeat on Blooms In, to psychedelic dance-floor euphoria on Oort Speis. Today, we’re happy to bring you 7 minutes and a half of melody and rhythm on Fukushia, the release’s closer. The track starts out with a thumping kick, steady percussion and a floating pad, sustained throughout the track with the exception of a few mini-breaks as well as an extended breakdown at the halfway mark. The bleep inspired melody keeps our attention for the duration of the track, before it disintegrates and nothing but the synth pad remains until the track comes to a halt. Fukushia, part of the Ametrine Horizon compilation, comes out on February 11th, 2022. The track as well as the full release are now available for pre-order on Bandcamp.
