PREMIERE: Sun Genam - Sensation Green [Something Happening Somewhere]

After his debut EP, 'Angry Gods' in 2020, the mysterious Dutchman currently residing in Berlin returns to his Sun Genam moniker and delivers a powerful four-tracker, titled 'Aexion' on Something Happening Somewhere. SoHaSo is a familiar place for Sun Genam, who released on the Amsterdam based label in the past under a different moniker. With 'Aexion,' the Dutchman focuses more on the mind and takes an inward journey. 'Sensation Green,' the closing track of the EP and our premiere for today, is a proper dance floor energizer. Its broken beat layered with drone pads and magical cosmic synths creates a 'calm before the storm' atmosphere, which bursts with energy when sudden bass stabs hit like thunder. The stabs are the most prominent part of the track, and with their 'up and down the scale rhythm, they create very distinct and vibrant energy that you'll remember the next day after hearing this in the club.
