He later returned to teach at the school as a part-time lecturer in restorative and implant dentistry.   He currently practices as a peripatetic clinician in clinics across the UK. He is a prolific mentor in implants and contributed to developing the Royal College of Surgeons’ Advanced General Dental Surgeon qualification.   George is currently treasurer of the Association of Dental Implantology.
