Travel is an essential part of a designer's inspiration process. It helps to develop observation skills and think creatively for projects. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Sydney, Australia along with other designers in a mastermind group. I arrived a bit earlier with a couple of my colleagues. We spent a few days exploring the city, taking tours, walking through beaches, snorkeling, and tasting the delicacies at every fabulous restaurant we could find. We had a great time together and enjoyed the entire experience to the fullest. However, the highlight of the trip was the iconic Sydney Opera House. I was surprised by how much it inspired me and how its design elements could be applied to our design projects. In this episode, I am sharing my insights on my trip and how it can be used to enhance design projects. Travel is not just a luxury. It's a necessity for sparking creativity and refining one's craft.
