Today, we are pleased to invite Dov Baron, the Dragonist, to our “Legacy Series” conversations. Mr. Baron speaks about his perspective of how dragons protect what is most valuable to them while having their hearts fully exposed. Dragons stand up for their principles and are consistently self-examining. With 30 years of coaching and advisory experience, Dov makes distinctions in the differences between values and maxims in knowing what we are operating out of. Mr. Baron also explores the worst advice leaders are given as well as the three (3) most dangerous words, then offers his best advice as a remedy. Dov states great coaches can call their clients out on their choices and behavior, while having their back because they care. Dov grew up admiring the concept of the American Dream. Now, he looks around and extends a challenge to leaders to commit themselves to conscious compassionate capitalism. While cognitive diversity makes him smarter, he blows through the concept of an “open door” policy; “barriers of power” cause individuals to protect dysfunction and perpetuate their own powerlessness. Mr. Baron states the power differentials destroy the truth in the ‘sub-cultures’ creating the ‘culture’. Or in his direct question: what is the precious lie you tell? Or in his insight of how people can give themselves permission to not grow up, in avoiding each opportunity to get honest about their environment or levels of denial. When leaders commit to doing the inner work, they can trust themselves to be more hands on in aligning and honoring their values. In developing other’s legacies, he emphasizes the power is with three groups that have an opportunity to create the future. Tune in to this engaging chat as Dov shares his top values, what legacy means to him and the connection to actualized leadership. Our Story: We believe the positive legacy of every human being can be realized with great coaching. Most of us are not developing the kind of legacy that allows us to be as happy and intentional as we'd like to be. We think, speak and write about developing personal life legacies so others can see a way forward with ease and possibilities. If the path to your legacy is defined and developed, you will be able to experience more freedom, fulfillment and satisfaction. Our Mission Statement: Developing a holistic legacy is not yet an endeavor to pursue for most people, even if it could be a vision ‘one day’, which sometimes makes people feel overwhelmed and with clay feet. We wake up every morning and pave a way for "new legacy conversations" so more people can take personal agency in designing their lasting legacy. Our Theme: If the bridge to a personal legacy is made clear, more people will be able to cross to the other side and design a legacy filled with meaning and their values. - If you’re not a client yet, here’s your invitation to schedule your consultation and book your first session online today. We work with self-made entrepreneurs, family office executives, NextGen family members, trustees of charitable estates and those participating in family foundations.
