5: MURDER: D'Lisa Kelley

Detective Perspective - A podcast by Derrick Levasseur - Mondays

On the evening of March 7, 2014, D’Lisa Kelley, a 24-year-old caring mother, left her grandmother’s house in Dallas, Texas. At approximately 6:45 pm, D’Lisa accidentally called her sister. When her sister answered the phone, she heard D’Lisa screaming and yelling, “Stop! Get off me!” and a man saying, “Shut up! Stop screaming! You want to be hard headed.” D’Lisa’s grandmother called 911 to ask for help, but the police didn't respond to the call. Seven days later, D’Lisa's lifeless body was discovered in an abandoned house. She had become a victim of a brutal murder, which was carried out days after she went missing. It’s been more than nine years since D’Lisa was murdered, and investigators are still searching for her killer… Anyone with information on D’Lisa Kelley’s case is asked to call the North Texas Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477.
