Steven and Kate had the pleasure to interview Marco Hinz, COO of CrossLend this week. Marco explained that he has always been involved in B2B technology, however never in banking… until CrossLend! He explained that CrossLend bridges the gap from the “capital markets” world to the “real world”. They are able to take some of the cost and friction out of lending! We discussed the concept of embedded finance and “being at the point of the business, the point of the demand”. Marco believes in experimentation and is not afraid to fail with his motto being: “Let us try this.” Certainly, AI is critical for this business going forward, but do we need blockchain? Do Lego blocks really have something to do with banking?
