The energy within the blocks surrounding DISTRIKT is palpable, and there is no greater honor than getting to play a set there! I had actually been exploring the area that entire morning, on a quest to find my friends that were camping in the area. I couldn't find them, so I headed over to an already cracking party at DISTRIKT, got on the decks, and decided to send out a little call signal to my friends in the area, hoping they would recognize my vibes and come through. Within twenty minutes, that Burning Man magic we all know worked, and ALL my friends showed up, despite the fact that I hadn't told them I was playing. We had a blast.
