Shana Townsend, BSPT - Part 2

Happy New Year!! Here's to hoping 2021 isn't the sh** show that 2020 was. On to newer and better things!  On the 9th and 10th episode of Season 2, Steven goes solo and talks to Shana Townsend. Shana talks about her background in the hospital and how she started learning about the vestibular world on her own before branching out her knowledge and teaching at her hospital. They talk about the importance of collaborating with other therapists when you're stuck on what to do with a patient. They then follow through on that importance by discussing some patient cases that Shana has been struggling with recently and discuss possible solutions and things to consider. A few things that Shana pointed out: Chris Carpino at PESI, VEDA (https://vestibular.org/healthcare-directory/), EvidenceCEU Vestibular Study Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/VestibularStudyGroup/) Want to get in touch with Shana?
