Connor McDavid scored the championship-clinching goal at 8:18 of overtime as Canada beat the United States 3-2 to win the 4 Nations Face-Off Saturday night at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley recorded the primary assist on Nathan MacKinnon’s first period goal; it was Harley’s first-ever point for Canada in his second international game for the senior men’s team. Sam Bennett scored the other goal for the Canadians in regulation. Brady Tkachuk and Jake Sanderson each scored goals for Team USA in the losing effort.
