DNA Of Purpose - A podcast by Rebecca Maklad

Welcome to another episode of the Decoding Purpose Podcast. As all of our regular listeners would know by now, season two of this podcast is all about decoding purpose in the turning points. Now it is fair to say that any turning point is significant to one's life, but none is more significant than coming within minutes of losing your life altogether. That is exactly what happened to today's guest - the one and only Greg Page otherwise known as the original yellow wiggle. It was the 17th Of January earlier this year when Greg almost took his final bow. He went into cardiac arrest as he left the stage at the end of an Australian bush fire relief show. Greg could have so easily died on the scene had there not been a defibrillator or a nurse who knew CPR. Instead, today, he is here to share with me his turning point. A sliding door moment where the outcomes for his life could have been so different had there not been the right equipment and a nurse on the scene quick to her feet.As you can imagine in speaking to Greg, I was so curious to understand how this particular turning point deepened his connection to purpose? How did it change his perspective and from here, how is he using this epic story to ignite social change for the greater good? Now, of course, we also spoke about The Wiggles. I am guessing most of you would have heard of the Wiggles as a child, taken a nephew or niece or if you have kids, you probably know all the lyrics to the Hot Potato, Fruit Salad or Rock A Bye Your Bear. For the 2% of you who may have never heard of the Wiggles...they are an Australian children's music group, and what I would consider being a global movement that today continues to produce television shows, albums and merchandise all over the world. So without further delay, go and grab your yellow skivvy and get ready to dance with the one and only Greg Page.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
