Doc Archive (2006): The Nore Bar

What happens when they turn off the TV in the Nore Bar, Kilkenny City every second Tuesday night?  There is a changing of the guard.  The young folk leave after watching the football, the television is switched off, the spotlight comes on in the corner of the bar and the monologues start.  It is a social occasion, where many stories are shared with laughter and tears.  (First Broadcast 2006)
