Knock Knock, who’s there, episode 78 of The DOD45 Show! Let’s go! Well, well, well what do we have here? Our guest this week is the delightful, the talented, the bottom-feeding media’s current punching bag, Taryn Manning!!! You heard me right, Taryn Manning. No she’s not a typical DOD45 guest, if there is such a thing, but we linked up with Taryn many months back due to her appearance in Atmosphere’s Okay music video and we’ve been planning to hang with her on the show since then. Who knew she was gonna break the internet with her comments about ‘Gold Juice’ on the Whitney Cummings podcast and who knew she was gonna get caught up in some “very interesting” Instagram drama….not us and certainly not her. But here’s what can be said in this intro, if you’re lookin’ to Troll this episode, by all means, but ya better watch the whole damn episode before you cherry pick. I don’t think you’re gonna have much to troll anyway, because Taryn is an absolute delight and we have an excellent discussion with her, while I draw her a Rhino gettin’ his revenge against the man. We share a mutual love of animals and Taryn mentions in this episode how she relates to the remarkable creature we humans call a Rhinoceros. I had a slew of our typical Sophie’s Choice questions in the cue & an entire line-up of questions I intended to ask of Taryn & probably only got to one of’em…What does that mean? That means, it was such an organic and interesting conversation that I didn’t have time to get to any of those questions, however Sage Francis did drop in for the Sage’s Social Media Lurk to ask Taryn about a social media post from 2012, cuz all you bottom feeders out there have lurked her current social media ad naseum, but Sage uncovers something that leads to a conversation with Taryn about Doin’ a number 2, dropping’ a deuce, laying’ pipe, laying bricks, aka pooping, a thing most all of us do but none of us made a mini-series out of like Taryn did. I also introduce an old game from when I was a kid Called MASH, and we tell Taryn’s future in an alternate life. IF your’e a fan of Taryn, I think you’re really gonna enjoy this episode & if you’re a troll or someone unfamiliar with Taryn, I think you’re gonna enjoy the episode just as much. A lot of random chat but we get to learn some other interesting things about Taryn through our Dish segment, asking Taryn of her Firsts, Worsts and Favorites.
