Spain plans to remove the remains of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco from the Valley of the Fallen (a controversial memorial site) and rebury them elsewhere. We talk with Stanley G. Payne, recent recipient of the prestigious Bernardo de Gálvez award and a leading authority on fascism and Spanish history, about the significance of this move and authoritarianism in the world today.
