Making TTRPG Characters feel unique

DoubleDM - A podcast by DoubleDM - Mondays

Something that we've heard and said ourselves quite often is that TTRPG and D&D Characters are supposed to be special in regard to the world around them, but what does that mean, how do we achieve that and what consequences can we draw from it?That is what we are discussing today. We talk about Players and their Characters being unique in the context of TTRPGs. We talk about how the fact of characters being a unique presence and the knowledge of that fact can help you in your games, your prep, and your worldbuilding. We also highlight different ways for you to use and highlight that uniqueness yourself to create gaming experiences that won't be forgotten so quickly.
