062 Thomas Devine: Hamilton Palace & his Forth love affair, relegated two hours after joining the management team and going it alone in the dugout

THOMAS DEVINE’S love affair with Forth started in the Hamilton Palace nightclub. After nine years as a player and a spell as co-boss, he’s been the sole man in charge at Kingshill since last November. Thomas joins us on the show this week ahead of their league opener against Shotts on July 13. He tells about the day he experienced relegation just TWO hours after joining the Forth management team. We hear how he’s finding life on his own as a boss and look back at his stint playing at Newmains United, when he picked up personal accolades. Plus after landing a linkup with the Motherwell Community Trust which sees their freed players get a chance at Forth, we discuss why there should be more joined up thinking in Scottish football. There’s an occasional guest appearance from Thomas’ dog too. It’s all here as we go Down The Divisions. We'd like to give a quick mention to our sponsors FortyFour Creative. They have a team of highly skilled and passionate photographers, graphic designers, videographers and video editors to help promote your content, brand, organisation or event. They make creation personal. Find out more at www.fortyfourcreativehq.comIf you have any comments we'd love to hear from you.
