In this episode, we'll be connecting with Salone Monet a Brooklyn-taught shoe artisan and American University graduate.  Salone Is also the founder and creative director of SaloneMonet, an e-commerce brand that has received critical acclaim for its inclusive line of nude shoes. During the show, Salone discussed her path into the world of shoe design and fashion,  how she was introduced to the concept of equity crowdfunding, and some of the challenges she's had to overcome to succeed as a BIPOC founder that is producing a physical product.
