[28:16] – Expressing Remorse For One’s Sins And Asking For Forgiveness

رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي. My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me. Rabbi inni dhalamtu nafsi faghfirli. Prophet Musa spoke these words immediately after accidentally killing the Coptic man who was fighting with a man from the Children of Israel.
