Early Entry Early entry was set to start on October 1st. Disney as announced that early entry will start “soft openings” on September 26th.  E-mails are being sent to guests and members staying on property. All four parks are scheduled to open 30 minutes early to resort guests.  In addition: Rise of the Resistance has been added to the list of early entry attractions. The ride went to a Standby line as of September 23rd. It is expected that this is due to it being added to Genie+ system. Wed, 9/29 – LIVE: “Harmonious” at EPCOT at 9:00 p.m. ET.Thurs, 9/30 – LIVE: “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom Park at 10:15 p.m. ET. Beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, join us to see “Harmonious” at EPCOT, one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park. The show, which is a key milestone in the transformation of EPCOT, pays tribute to the stories and songs that unite us all featuring new technical magic that includes special pyrotechnics, moving fountains, special lighting and media. And as we shared earlier, Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering have created a transformative experience with “Harmonious” that invites you to travel the globe through new interpretations of classic Disney songs as you’ve never heard them before. According to DVCNews’  Tim Krasniewski, the Moorea Building has been completely reopened, and Tokelau building has at least partially re-opened.  According to the article, one guest was told all rooms would be completed by September 23rd, but this has not been confirmed. . Source: DVC News California Grill 50th Special Event “Celebration at the Top” As part of the 50th anniversary, California Grill will have TWO options for dining.  The first is a nightly event called “Celebration at the top”.  “Upon your arrival, dine on culinary offerings, including sushi, small bites, favorite dishes from the California Grill menu, desserts and even some odes to our past. As showtime approaches, step out onto the intimate and private observation deck reserved just for Celebration at the Top Guests. Here, you can enjoy an incredible view of Disney Enchantment.. The lights will dim as music plays on the deck, so you’ll be immersed in the magic of the night.” Pricing is $129 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and includes complimentary valet parking. California Grill 50th Pre-Fixe menu In addition for those that want to eat at the regular restaurant, a special Three-course Pre-Fixe menu with 3 courses at a price of $89 for adults, and $39 for children. Appetizers include Sushi, Duck L’orange Pizza and Braised Short Rib Won tons. Entrees include Filet of Beef, Grouper, Pork Tenderloin, and a Mushroom and Squash Ravioli Desserts include a special “5 Bites for 50 years” and a Grand Marnier Souff
