Moonlight Magic Returns   Moonlight Magic events are back!  Experience a night full of excitement at these complimentary events offering exclusive after-hours access. Enjoy select new and classic attractions with shorter-than-usual wait times, Character sightings, reimagined entertainment and delectable delights, all during The World’s Most Magical Celebration! Epcot - March 17th and March 31st Hollywood Studios - May 24th, June 16th, and July 14th Animal Kingdom - July 26th, August 31st, and September 28th Eligible members with a Disney Resort hotel reservation on the event date can register online for the Epcot events beginning February 23, 2022. Event registration opens to all eligible Members on March 8, 2022 (pending availability).  Registration information for the Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom events is not yet available. Source: Disney Vacation Club website Disney Drops Face Mask Requirement for Fully Vaccinated Guests Beginning February 17, 2022, face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings will still be required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner. Source: Disney World website Storyliving by Disney Announced Disney announced plans to introduce Storyliving by Disney, vibrant new neighborhoods that are infused with Disney’s special brand of magic. Each community will feature distinctively designed spaces, unique amenities and Disney’s brand of world-renowned service. These master-planned, new home communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives — all while enjoying the attention to detail and special touches that are Disney hallmarks. Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community, will be built in the heart of the Coachella Valley in Rancho Mirage, California. Source: Disney Parks blog Walt Disney World Increases Ticket Prices Walt Disney World increased ticket prices for multi-day tickets for guests visiting for multiple days on Wednesday, February 16th. This is the first major adjustment to Walt Disney World’s ticket pricing since March 2019. Some shorter tickets have stayed the same price, but most 4-day or longer tickets are higher by 4-8%.  Ticket prices for individual tiers seemingly have not changed as of yet. Annual passes are still unavailable for purchase. Source: WDW News Today Grand Floridian sales begin March 3rd   Beginning March 3, 2022, Disney Vacation Club Members can add on to their membership at the newly expanded and enhanced The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Approximately 200 new Resort Studios are expected to open in Summer 2022. DVC has previously announced that the new Resort Studios will be a part of the current condo association for the Grand Floridian and will expire in 2064 with the rest of the resort.
