Promoting Unity through Commitment

Main idea: Christians should be committed to a local church Discussion questions: What is the church, who are its members, and what is its purpose?  What is the difference between the "universal church" and the "local church"? How can the Bible's instructions and commands concerning the leadership and life of the church be understood and obeyed only when applied to the local church in the narrowest sense? Why should believers be lovingly committed to a local church in the narrowest sense? Are you committed to a local church? How? How might God lead you to be more committed?
