Protecting the Preborn

Sermon text: Exodus 21:22–25 Main idea: Christians must strive to protect the lives of preborn children. Discussion questions: Why should believers not be surprised or anxious when encountering issues the Bible doesn't directly address? How is the Bible a guiding light on the issue of abortion without directly addressing it? How do the birth of Christ and the law of Moses promote the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception? Why is abortion a great evil? The sin of abortion can and must be pardoned by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ but how do we know it is possible? How have you/can you fulfill your responsibility to protect the lives of preborn children and their mothers?
