🇬🇧Entre-Elles is back this week with an episode featuring Mominatu Boog, Founder of MomiYoga in Dakar, Senegal. Despite her young age Mominatu has lived several lives and traveled the word. A native of Chicago, Illinois (USA) and an avid wellness enthusiast, Mominatu started her career as a top certified personal trainer in Greater Chicago area where she later received her first yoga certification at the age of 19. She then moved to Puerto Rico where she was signed to her first modeling agency. Which then led her to the city of dreams —NYC the place she considers home. Throughout the years maintaining yoga and deepening her practice. Ecuador, India, Tanzania and a short stint back in her home country preceded her most recent adventure: launching MomiYoga in Dakar, Senegal and building a community of mostly African women around her. Despite Covid 19 and the challenges faced with many industries, including the fitness industry, Mominatu has managed to adapt by teaching virtual and socially distanced classes throughout Dakar. In our conversation she shares her views on the meaning of success, the importance of setting goals, moving with intention and a supportive environment. I invite you to listen to our candid and open conversation on life, yoga and thinking beyond borders.🇫🇷Entre-Elles revient cette semaine avec un Ă©pisode consacrĂ© Ă  Mominatu Boog, Fondatrice de MomiYoga Ă  Dakar, SĂ©nĂ©gal. En dĂ©pit de son jeune âge, Mominatu a deja vĂ©cu plusieurs vies et voyagĂ© Ă  travers le monde. ElevĂ©e Ă  Chicago dans l'Etat de l'Illinois (USA) et passionnĂ©e de fitness, Mominatu dĂ©bute sa carrière en tant que personal trainer accreditĂ©, dans la rĂ©gion de Chicago, avant d'obtenir par la suite son diplĂ´me de professeur de yoga Ă  l'âge de 19 ans. Elle part ensuite s'installer Ă  Porto-Rico oĂą elle signe son premier contrat de mannequin avant de dĂ©mĂ©nager Ă  New York, la ville de ses rĂŞves. Au fil des annĂ©es, sa pratique du yoga continue et s'intensifie. L'Equateur, l'Inde, la Tanzanie et un bref retour dans son pays natal prĂ©cèdent sa dernière aventure: le lancement de MomiYoga Ă  Dakar au SĂ©nĂ©gal et la crĂ©ation d'une communautĂ© de femmes, principalement Africaines autour de sa passion.
