Eurovision Chat Over Coffee: Ukrainian Journalist Maria Romanenko

Kyiv journalist Maria Romanenko settled in the UK after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and started volunteering to organise tours around Manchester. With Liverpool hosting Eurovision 2023, she organised tours around the Song Contest’s new home for visiting Ukrainians. Ewan Spence sat down with Maria to listen to her story, the impact of her walking tours on those who come on them, and the importance of Eurovision to Ukrainians.
