036; Three Rings of Security | Mark Booher

In this episode, Mark Booher of Barritus talks about security, he breaks down and simplifies things for us by using three rings as a template to evaluate our security. The three rings template can be used to evaluate not only our personal security but also the security of our homes, businesses, and churches. By evaluating our security we can make sure that we are develping a full complement of skills to defend ourselves and those that we love and care about. Mark is the Founder and Senior Instructor for Barritus. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he spent 5 years working force protection, conducting intelligence and security operations. Mark has studied both the U.S. and British interrogation and debriefing methods is a Certified Close Protection Specialist and trained in the West Bank with members of the IDF on Israeli counter-terrorism and security methods. Following his military service, he studied law at the University of Arkansas and spent 6 years as a deputy district attorney. During that time, he prosecuted numerous cases involving homicide, shootings, assaults, and other crimes of violence. His experience gives him a unique perspective on the dynamics of violence and how attacks actually occur in urban environments. Mark founded the Rubicon Training Group in 2013 and in 2017 re-branded the name to Barritus. Mark has trained military units at Fort Bragg, personnel from the Department of Justice and hundreds of others from the law enforcement, military, and private sector. He is also a contributor to The Counter Terrorist Magazine.
