Terror in Sri Lanka | Mark Booher

In this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking once again to Mark Booher of Barritus Defense. Mark was good enough to join me on short notice to discuss the tragic bombings in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. We had the opportunity to discuss what happened and what we can learn from these brazen attacks. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he spent 5 years working force protection, conducting intelligence and security operations. Mark has studied both the U.S. and British interrogation and debriefing methods is a Certified Close Protection Specialist and trained in the West Bank with members of the IDF on Israeli counter-terrorism and security methods. Following his military service, he studied law at the University of Arkansas and spent 6 years as a deputy district attorney. During that time, he prosecuted numerous cases involving homicide, shootings, assaults, and other crimes of violence. His experience gives him a unique perspective on the dynamics of violence and how attacks actually occur in urban environments. Mark founded the Rubicon Training Group in 2013 and in 2017 re-branded the name to Barritus. Mark has trained military units at Fort Bragg, personnel from the Department of Justice and hundreds of others from the law enforcement, military, and private sector.
