One of the most important bands from the mid 90s to early 00s. Shutdown NYHC brought together the old but classic sounds of youth crew hardcore, mixed with the heaviness that came to define 90s NYHC.    We spoke with vocalist and founding member of the band Mark Scondotto about his early beginnings in the  hardcore scene, the rise of the band and impact they made.
