I have served on the faculty of the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in New York and also conducted workshops throughout the US and the UK. I served at one time on the publications board of the Theosophical Society in America in Wheaton, Illinois where I also served as marketing manager. Earlier in life, I worked as a journalist and publicist and have worked on publications everywhere from Alaska to Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Minneapolis, Michigan, and New Hampshire. Also, I have worked at various book publishing houses in acquisitions, publicity, sales, and marketing. One of the most enjoyable experiences of my life was when I organized and ran the annual writing competition for Willamette Writers, a Portland group with membership in five Western states. I graduated in communication studies at the University of Washington and also served in the US Army. .
