How do you overcome difficulties and succeed as a startup founder? In this episode, we set out to answer these and many more questions with the three winners of the 7th batch of our EY accelerator program, the EY Startup Academy. We are excited to feature Christopher Ripp, CEO of I3D Energy, Kim Mckayed, CEO of Protostars, and Jakob Tresch, Co-Founder and Product Lead at niatsu, who were selected by an expert jury in November 2023. Our discussion focusses on the business models of the startups, the key takeaways of the three founders and how the EY Startup Academy equipped them for their future journey. The EY Startup Academy is a six-week program which provides selected startups with the opportunity to advance their business models, participate in a series of workshops and fireside chats as well to access a partner network of investors, companies and other relevant actors in the startup ecosystem. The international program aims to prepare startups to become investor ready and provide them with support and expertise on their journey from idea to exit. The 7th batch of the EY Startup Academy specifically focused on FinTech and Tech startups active in Web3/Digital Assets, Embedded Finance Solutions and ESG/Sustainable Finance.  Hosts: Anna Caroline Lange, Senior Consultant Strategy & Transactions, and Caroline Peters, Consultant Business Consulting.
