Alphaville interview - Marian Gold (2022)

Alphaville is a German synth-pop band that gained tremendous international popularity in the 1980s with their hit songs "Forever Young" and "Big In Japan". The band continued to released albums throughout the decades, with vocalist Marian Gold being the only constant member throughout. Their latest album 'Eternally Yours' (2022) is a symphonic reworking of some of their best and most popular songs, and we spoke with Marian about the album, his start in music, the early success of Alphaville, Brian Eno and David Bowie, Forever Young, and a lot more! Interview by: Martin KuiperSupport the showThank you for listening!
